Adhering to the persistent spirit of ‘finish what you start’ and the outstanding pursuit of ‘stick to it’, all the teachers of Anqing Foreign Language School’s west campus have ushered in another new school year. On the afternoon of 28th August, the Junior High Department of the west campus held a working meeting of teaching and research team leaders in the brand-new teaching and research activity room. In attendance were Vice Principal Hu Qilin, Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng, Deputy Director Zhou Mi of the Teaching Department, Deputy Director Hu Rongrong of the Moral Education Department in addition to the leaders of the teaching and research groups as well as the lesson preparation groups of various disciplines. The meeting was presided over by Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng.
Initially at the meeting, Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng first affirmed the work attitude and achievements of the leaders of the teaching and research groups and the lesson preparation groups in the last semester. In combination with the actual situation of the west campus, he pointed out the direction of the teaching and research work in the new semester and made specific deployment. Afterwards, Vice Principal Hu Qilin stressed again the importance of academic reseasrch in improving teaching quality and promoting the development of the school. Additionally, he specified the problems exposed in the current teaching and research work, and encouraged all the leaders of the teaching and research groups to give full play to their subjective initiative and actively mobilize the teachers to participate in various teaching and research activities so as to build the west campus into a high quality school.
To put it in a nutshell, as the saying goes, ‘Know your limitations and work hard to improve. Meanwhile, see the mountains in the distance and the road ahead, then it is time to start from now on.’ Therefore, the success of the meeting of the leaders of the teaching and research group pointed out the direction for all teachers in Anqing Foreign Language School’s west campus, who will continue to overcome difficulties and make achievements in their teaching and research.
